The Customs Department c/o the Customs Directorate (Customs) invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure for the procurement of a central processing system with the accompanying interface for a new vehicle and registration plate recognition. The procurement also includes a contract for the maintenance and further development of the system, as well as assistance with planning and rolling out camera and sensor technology. An option for a contract for the operation of the system is also included as part of the procurement, however, tenderers can choose whether or not to submit a tender for this. Customs is making the procurement on behalf of Customs, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) and the Police Department (the Police). The Police shall have an option to establish a separate central processing system.

Whether a central processing system shall be developed and established for each of the two other departments, or whether a joint central processing system shall be developed and established for Customs and NPRA, will be assessed and a decision will be made based on the tenderers´ offered systems and proposals for the set-up of them.
