The subject of the contract is the lease and installation of 135 pcs of factory new or factory refurbished and one type of ticket machines (tickets) owned by the Contractor (Operator) or which the Contractor may dispose of in a manner enabling him to perform the order properly, in 49 of railway vehicles of the Ordering Party and their full service over a period of 4 years starting from the date of launch of the first ticket in new SKM vehicles with an option to extend for a further 4 years.

1. The object of the contract is the lease and installation of 135 pcs of factory new or factory refurbished and one type of ticket machines (tickets) owned by the Contractor (Operator) or which the Contractor may dispose of in a manner enabling him to perform the order properly, in 49 railway vehicles of the company QuickKolej Miejska sp. z o.o. (Ordering or SKM) and their full service over a period of 4 years, starting from the date of launch of the first ticket in new SKM vehicles, with the option to extend for another 4 years.

2. The Contracting Authority currently has 28 vehicles of types 14EC, 19EC, 27EC and 35EC. In addition, it will have an additional 21 pc of new 31WEba and 45WEa type railway vehicles by the end of 2022. Additionally, during the transitional period until the end of 2022, the Contracting Authority leases 2 vehicles to 14EC.

3. As part of the order object, the Operator will provide:

- delivery and installation in SKM vehicles of tickets, installation of tickets must take place at the location provided for by vehicle manufacturers, at an altitude of 850 ÷ 1050 mm from the floor of the vehicle to the base of the device — including the transfer of tickets from 2 leased 14EC vehicles to their target places of operation in 45WEa vehicles;

- the possibility of payment by the buyer for tickets in non-cash form; payment will directly affect the bank account of the Contracting Authority at the nominal value of the ticket sold, for this purpose the payment functionality of the ticket should meet the conditions set out in Annex No. 6 to OPZ;

- the possibility of continuing sales of tickets specified in Annex 3 to OPZ; “Types of tickets sold in SKM mobile vending machines” by means of tickets and a 24-hour service, including at least:

- service and maintenance,

- full range of repairs of equipment.

4. The operator shall install tickets constructed in accordance with the requirements of Annex 1 to the OPZ: “Mobile ticket machine functionality and colour scheme and marking method”. Installation will take place on the site of the railway siding Warszawa-Wola, Need Street 54, under the supervision of the Ordering Party and the manufacturer of the vehicle (for new vehicles).

5. The operator will be obliged to:

- obtaining acceptance of the Ordering Party and the Board of Municipal Transport in Warsaw (ZTM) for the design of the tickets of their functionality and color scheme,

- arrangements with the Ordering Party and ZTM of the ticketing machine interface,

- providing a mock ticket machine with full functionality in order to obtain acceptance of the Ordering Party and ZTM,

- provide the SNB management application (Ticket Surveillance System) to obtain acceptance of the Ordering Party and the ZTM,

- placing the marks indicated by the ZTM and logos on all tickets, as set out in Annex 8 to the OPZ: 'Scheme of the marking of the biletomate (example) ',

- replenishment of stickers/markings, displayed on the biletomate, which have been destroyed — according to the patterns established from the ZTM,

- the use of thermal paper to print tickets as described according to Annex No 4 to OPZ: 'Description of thermal paper — ticket printing rolls in SKM mobile vending machines, '

- the use of SAM cards conforming to the specification set out in Annex 5 to OPZ: 'Specification of SAM cards',

- comply with the recommendations of the Contracting Authority and the manufacturer of the vehicle during the assembly and operation of the assembled equipment, in order to maintain all rights under the warranty granted by the manufacturer of vehicles to the Contracting Authority.

6. Estimated annual ticket sales in one ticket are approximately 15,000 - 18,000 pc. The estimate made is for the period prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
