Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim GmbH (SWLB) are planning the construction of various district heating pipelines as part of the municipal climate protection model project "District heating network with solar thermal energy (SolarHeadGrid)". The measures are funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and pursue the goal of uniting the individual power supply units into a network.
The aim of this section D solar field is to create a connection between the wood-fired power plant in the Eisenbahnstraße and the future solar field on Römerhügelweg.
In the course of the gas and water pipelines are installed in various areas by the SWLB. The entire route length is about 1,040 m. For the execution are mainly plastic jacketed pipes of classic design. The crossing of an industrial track takes place as an overhead line. The entire measure is subject to a funding program.
