A service agreement will be tendered for the Vaasa Hospital District Municipal Association, Vaasa Central Hospital and its affiliated areas, which will include the emptying of waste bins and the transportation of waste to a waste treatment facility.

The purpose of the acquisition is to conclude a three-year service agreement with 1 operator for the collection and removal of waste at Vaasa Central Hospital. The service provider must have the permits required by law for the collection and transportation of waste. The service contract is a unit price contract, and a fixed price (EUR / tonne) is agreed for the emptying and transportation of the waste and is valid for the entire procurement period. The service provider may add a waste management fee to the facility for invoicing. The actual contract period is 3 years, from 1.3.2020 to 28.2.2023. In addition, the acquisition includes an option for the option year, 1.3.2023 to 28.2.2024. The option will be decided before the end of the actual contract period.
