St Mary’s Secondary School is a voluntary secondary school under the trusteeship of the Catholic Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin.

Please note that this project is Phase 2 of a larger project. Phase 1 comprises four general classrooms, a technology room and a DCG room. Phase 1 is currently close to tender stage.

In summary, this Phase 2 project will comprise:

Section A:

• 4 x general classrooms 58.6 m2 each;

• 1 x construction studies room 149 m2;

• 1 x project store 16.4 m2;

• student and staff toilets 39.5 m2;

• locker space 36 m2;

• giving a floor area including circulation and internal walls of 420.2 m2.

Section B:

• two classroom SEN Base 409.7 m2;

• giving a floor area including circulation and internal walls of 524.4 m2;

• giving gross floor area for Sections A and B incl. staircases and lift: 1 065 m2.

Also External:

• secure hard and soft play area 200 m2;

• sensory garden 100 m2;

• 6 parking spaces;

• also for demolition: prefab buildings 280 m2 (please see attached site plan).
