At the Munich Clinic, coaching is understood as individual, time-limited, dialogical process support with regard to the professional goals of the counselling seeker (coachee). The Munich Clinic trusts in the potential of its employees and in the fact that these potentials are awakened or expanded through coaching. Coaching promotes leadership and personnel skills and team spirit, is voluntary, self-determined and goals and content are confidential. Coaching at the Munich Clinic is distinct from consulting and training. Supervision is also carried out as part of an act of entrustment. It is expected that the coaches are familiar with the accompaniment of change processes, especially in team coaching.

Individual and team coaching measures emerge from a specific occasion. The goals are to clarify the relationships between the team members or the role of the manager in the team, to reflect on one's own basic attitudes and to jointly develop possible courses of action. The design is based on the development and change goals of the coach.
The aim of supervision measures is to jointly reflect on long-term workloads in a moderated dialogue with the involvement of external and professional providers and to work on mechanisms for coping with them. The regular and structured implementation of supervision in the nursing sector is intended to help the entire team to stay healthy in a demanding and often stressful professional life and thus contribute to ensuring needs-based nursing care in the hospital.
