The city of Rösrath wants to restructure the Freiherr-vom Stein school centre in Rösrath through expansion and renovation. The aim is to rehabilitate existing school buildings with around 22,000 square meters of GFA and to build a new building with approximately 2,600 sqm GFA, which houses the canteen, premises for tied all-day operation and functional rooms. The bidding and awarding of construction works is carried out by trade unions.
In the present case, the composite thermal insulation system is tendered. The work is carried out during ongoing school operations. Different execution periods are planned for the new building, the grammar school and the main and/or secondary school wing. These can still be shifted as construction continues. The services for individual construction phases will therefore only be made binding 3 weeks before the start of construction.
The services to be performed essentially include:
- working scaffolding approx. 250 m2
- Dismantling of existing plaster and insulation surfaces, approx. 70 m2
- Thermal insulation composite system, mineral wool, with smooth plaster coating, approx. 200 m2.
- Further insulation and plaster work on existing substrates, approx. 100 m
