The Bismarckschule is one of the most important Art Nouveau buildings in the city of Nuremberg. The property comprises a 4-storey double-winged building with hip roofs, diaphragm, lantern towers and dormers, a 2-storey hall with a flat roof and a polygonal clock tower with hood roof and lantern. The outer wall of the ground floor is made of rustic sandstone brick masonry, the upper floors are massively plastered and the entire building is decorated with rich Art Nouveau decor. The northern outbuilding is a 2-storey, plastered solid building with a hipped roof and sandstone pile annexes. Massive damage to the facade and roof, as well as static problems of the ceilings in the second basement require a comprehensive redevelopment.
