The successful Supplier will be required to provide catering services at:

Valentines High School, Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, Ilford, Essex, IG2 6HX.

There are currently up to 1 650 students and 150 teaching and non-teaching staff within the school.

The school day begins at 08:30 hours and ends at 15:15 hours. Lunch break runs from 13:00 until 14:00 hours. The site closes at 19:00.

The academic year is based on a calendar of 195 days. 5 days are to be used for staff professional development, which means that the school will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days.

The total catering sales (including issues and free school meals) for this contract are just shy of 300 000 GBP per annum.

The school site is constantly evolving and it is expected that the new supplier will become involved with the growth and enhancement of the catering services to students and staff.

There is an expectation that the successful Supplier will be prepared to offer financial investment to the client in exchange for a longer term contract of between 3 and 5 years.
