Introduction of a central document management system (DMS) with legally compliant electronic archiving, electronic file management and workflow functions
Fulda University of Applied Sciences is planning to introduce electronic file management and process processing. The core element is the implementation of a DMS solution, which is to be rolled out step by step throughout the administration.
The overall DMS solution with all its components must be designed so openly that all document types and sources can be used, ie stored in the system and researched via the system, regardless of the format and medium of the original document. Likewise, the DMS solution must be able to be integrated into existing specialist processes in the short and medium term, preferably via open interfaces, provided that no standardized interfaces to the respective specialist processes are available within the offered solution.
