General Part / General Description of the construction project:
The city of Plauen intends to build a modern and innovative single-field hall at the Kemmler secondary school, as well as the qualitative upgrading of the outdoor facilities of the school grounds in Plauen's Ostvorstadt. Furthermore, the existing gymnasium is to be built in the listed school building to the canteen, in combination with a multifunctional room.
Technical description:
The subject of the procedure is the awarding of planning services in accordance with HOAI Part 4
Specialist planning, Section 1 Structural planning § 49 to 52 and Annex 14 - Work phases 5 to 6 for the "New construction of a single-field hall with gymnasium conversion and open space design at the Kemmler-Oberschule Plauen". A handover of the results of previous work phases takes place for project start-up consultation, on the part of the client.
The existing sports hall will be converted into a food counter with a dining room. The architect's design envisages dividing the existing sports hall into several rooms. The new building is directly adjacent to the existing building and will be connected to it. The existing school building is classified in GK 5, special construction.
Since it is a public building, a resource-saving,
cost-saving design and low-maintenance operation are of great importance. The
The overall project is expected to be completed by February 2025.
Furthermore, very good knowledge of German is required, as communication is exclusively in German during project planning.
Task structural engineering:
Service phase 5:
- Working through the results of work phases 3 and 4, taking into account the
Specialist planning integrated by the object planning
- Preparation of the formwork plans in addition to the completed execution plans of the
Objektplaners.
- Graphic representation of the constructions with built-in and
Installation instructions, e.g. reinforcement plans, steel construction or timber construction plans
with guide details (no workshop drawings).
- Preparation of steel or parts lists as a supplement to the graphic representation
of constructions with steel quantity determination.
- Continuation of coordination with test offices and test engineers or
Self-control.
Service phase 6:
- Determination of the quantities of reinforcing steel in reinforced concrete construction, the quantities of steel in steel construction
and the amount of wood in timber engineering as a result of the implementation planning and as a contribution to the quantity determination of the object planner.
- Approximate determination of the quantities of the structural steel parts and static
necessary fasteners and fasteners in timber engineering.
- Participation in the preparation of the service description as a supplement to the
Quantity determinations as the basis for the specifications of the supporting structure.
With regard to the Contractor's performance obligations under this contract (see sample in the
tender documents) also includes planning in 3D and provision
for everyone involved in the object. These services are included in the total fee.
Experience and references (see questionnaire for the aptitude test) in
various building materials and construction systems are required, which provide a
provide comprehensive advice to the architect and client on the upcoming project task.
Emphasis is placed on comprehensive visualizations and presentations as well as
preferably on digital coordination processes within the planning team.

Eligible costs for the new structure in the amount of EUR 993,300, net (fee zone III)
Eligible costs for the supporting structure of the old building in the amount of EUR 464,700, net (fee zone III)
