When the contract is awarded, a framework contract is concluded between the client and the contractor for the temporary provision of the blood gas analyser specified in the attachments Annex 1 - specifications Lot 01: Blood gas analyzer, other area and Annex 2 - specifications Lot 02: Blood gas analyser, KIK Haus 21 specified blood gas analysis equipment including Accessories for paid use and for the delivery of all/all reagents, consumption and control materials, accessories including samplers required for the operation of blood gas analysis devices and for the preparation of blood gas analysis/patient reports and control measurements are closed.

The contractor takes on the following services in particular:

- Temporary provision of the lot 01 specifications in the annexes Appendix 1: Blood gas analyzer, other area and attachment 2 - specifications Lot 02: Blood gas analyzer, KIK house 21 specified blood gas analysis devices including accessories for use against payment during the entire term of the framework contract

- Delivery, installation, assembly, commissioning and functional testing at the respective installation and operating locations,

- IT connection and integration, including necessary interfaces,

- Instruction of personnel and provision of an e-learning system for all users and operators of the blood gas analysis devices

- Full service (including in particular maintenance, inspection, repair, all spare and wear parts as well as service parts/service kits, software updates/upgrades, hardware replacement, repeat instructions and including travel costs) throughout the entire term of the framework contract

- Supplying the client with all reagents, consumption and control materials, accessories including samplers (except clot traps) required for the operation of the blood gas analysis equipment and for the preparation of blood gas analyses/patient findings and control measurements during the entire life of the framework agreement

- Disassembly, collection and return of blood gas analyzers including accessories after the end of the contract period.

The performance must be provided in accordance with the service description for the award procedure, including installations. The General Terms and Conditions of Carl Gustav Carus Dresden University Hospital at TU Dresden (Annex 6), the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions for the Execution of Services (“VOL/B”; in the version dated August 05, 2003), which are regulated by the Additional Terms and Conditions for Delivery and Service contracts from the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden at TU Dresden (Annex 7), as well as the provisions of the Civil Code in the version valid at the time of award.
