The Contracting Authority intends to acquire storage area network to be used initially as a substitute for a VNX 5400 storage located at SITE 1 of the University of Parma including hardware architecture, management tools, warranty and support services and installation and configuration services.

The Contracting Authority intends to acquire storage area network consisting of NVMe Storage (brand listed as "Leader" within the Gartner Magic Quadrant "primary storage - October 2022"), 32Gb/s fibre channel switches, management tools, warranty and support services and installation, configuration and training services.

The device object of the acquisition must subsequently be used, by purchasing a second device of the same or the same family, to replace an infrastructure in Business Continuity present in the 2 datacenters of the University of Parma.

The Business Continuity system of the offered device must be native and must not include the addition of hardware or licenses, which is not the future second storage that will be installed at site 2.
