In addition, as an option during the contract period, snow loading and removal as well as sanding sand removal, which can be ordered at the customer's discretion if necessary (they can also be done as own work or ordered from elsewhere). Options work (loading and removing snow and removing sand) do not affect the price comparison.

The contractor can choose one or more sites for which to submit a tender. An hourly rate is reported for ploughing and sanding as well as option work (loading and removal of snow and removal of sand). The contractor must commit to using a time tracking system with a smart device.

The maps on which the m2s of the sites are marked are attached.

If a property is sold or for other reasons ceases to be used by the municipality during the contract period, the object in question. The object is removed from the scope of the agreement without the municipality paying compensation for it.

Ploughing and sanding are carried out in accordance with the instructions given by the municipality. The instructions are reviewed with the selected contractor(s) in a ploughing meeting held before the start of the work, and before starting the ploughing season, the contractor must familiarise themselves with the ploughing area with the property manager or his or her authority.

Ploughing equipment is suitable for e.g. tractor fleet. The plow should be equipped with a rubber-hole blade. Before submitting a tender, the tenderer must ensure that the equipment to be offered is suitable for the tender. for plowing the object.

Work is performed according to needs at all times of the day.

Ploughing must begin no later than when about 5 cm of snow has fallen (other ploughing is ordered separately). The contractor takes care of going to work at all times on his own initiative according to weather conditions. Similarly, the monitoring of freezing and slipperiness of the areas/ measures (sanding if necessary) are the responsibility of the contractor.

Ploughing of property yards must have been completed before the start of the property's operating hours, mainly before 6.00 a.m. For school yards, weekend ploughing is ordered separately. The main thoroughfares of the properties and car parking areas will remain open.

Sanding ballast is available free of charge at the municipal depot in Kausala (Hallitie 5).
