Wolverhampton City Clinical Commissioning Group is commissioning an Assisted Conception Service to provide Assisted Conception services to patients qualifying for such tertiary services within their patient population.

A collaborative procurement will be undertaken enabling provision for Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell & West Birmingham and Birmingham Cross City CCGs.

The procurement is primarily to identify suitable providers to provide a range of specialist Tier 3 (tertiary) services under the general title of ‘Assisted Conception'. However, within the confines of this procurement, and as detailed in the specification, the procurement also aims to source providers (the same providers of Tier 3 services) able to offer secondary care investigative fertility services to patients. The procurement will not list anticipated activity for secondary care investigative services, as referrals cannot be guaranteed. The intention of this addendum service to the Tier 3 procurement is to offer increased patient choice at the point of referral for these services.
