23S121009 BPOL FLS FUD GF - New construction: LB TWP
New construction project of the federal government - GNUE
New building Accommodation of the Federal Police - Fliegerstaffel Fuhlendorf at the location Gifhorn (BPOL FLS FUD)
Service description structural planning, Lph 3 and 4 (installation EW-Bau) with option of further commissioning of Lph 5 to 6, as well as site supervision as a special service.
After several hundred Federal Border Guard officers moved in in March 1959, the Gifhorn site went through an eventful history: closed in 1999, reactivated in 2005. In April 2007, the decision was made for a final dissolution.
In 2012, the BMI user department decided to maintain the service location with the base of the Federal Police Air Squadron in Gifhorn in the long term.
As a result, the first modernization measures, such as renewal of the hall apron, refueling system, guard building, were initiated. At the same time, property areas not required by the Federal Police were returned to the owner (Federal Institute for Real Estate - BImA) and sold by her.
In a letter from the Federal Agency for Real Estate, the supervisory examined decision document Construction (ES-Bau) for the construction project:
"New accommodation of the Federal Police Air Squadron Fuhlendorf (BPOL FLS FUD) at the Gifhorn base"
Submitted to the BMI for planning approval and setting of a cost ceiling. The service property is part of the Unified Property Management (ELM) and thus owned by the Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA).
The object of the construction project is the construction of the new office building, a hangar for police helicopters with a new tower, a motor vehicle hangar and the preparation of the existing helicopter hangar for special situations, including expansion of the hall apron.
This is intended to create the conditions for the additional tasks of the Federal Police Fuhlendorf at the Gifhorn base, which go hand in hand with additional space requirements and personnel growth.
The conversion of the property will take place in the unrestricted service and flight operations of the Federal Police (BPOL).
For the construction project, the basic urban development concept was determined by the participants on the basis of various variants. The approved ES-Bau planning shows a need for optimization in the communication of architecture and building culture.
In addition to the architectural concept for the building plot to be built, statements on other contents, such as elemental construction, construction logistics, expansion potentials, as well as suggestions for the optimized implementation of the construction measure (timing) must be submitted. A design concept including a path and guidance system must be developed for the entire service property.
The design of the structural analysis of the buildings is enclosed with the tender documents.
