The ACE wishes to use a public contract to take out defined contribution group insurance (branch 21) for all new staff recruited from 1.5.2017 who will be entitled to such insurance in their salary package. For each worker, a premium will therefore be paid monthly, the amount at which the supplementary pension will ultimately be raised is not known in advance, it will depend on the investment performance of the insurance company and the duration during which contributions are paid and placed.

The Agency for Foreign Trade (ACE) was created by the cooperation agreement of 24.5.2002 concluded between the Federal Authority and the regions (Moniteur Belge of 20.12.2002). The agency for foreign trade is administered by a board of directors whose honorary president is his majesty the King.

The agency is at the service of its partners: the three regional institutions responsible for foreign trade and the federal public service for foreign affairs. As a result, the agency provides a forum for federal expertise in international politics and regional expertise in international trade.

Only supplementary pension plans relating to the payment of a fixed employer contribution expressed as a percentage of the salary during a period during which the beneficiary is actually occupied for the functions referred to in these specifications by the public body are retained.
