The City of Mölndal is in the starting blocks to carry out procurement of security-creating technology, which aims to increase the individual person's (user's) independence, personal integrity, participation, security and freedom of choice, but also to create a modern, sustainable and efficient work environment for employees and managers in health and social care. Security-creating technology refers to alarms and alarm reception, but also other security-creating products/functions such as security cameras, mobile safety alarms, etc.

Extent
The City of Mölndal is conducting a procurement of security-creating technology, which aims to increase the individual person's (user's) independence, personal integrity, participation, security and freedom of choice, but also to create a modern, sustainable and efficient work environment for employees and managers in health and social care. By taking advantage of the opportunities that digitalization creates and the smart solutions that are currently on the market, the City of Mölndal can meet and take account of today's as well as tomorrow's needs.
The supplier shall take overall responsibility for installation, operation, error correction and support of the system. The agreement can also be used to meet future needs in different types of housing, for example by having the opportunity to take advantage of innovative solutions that are not yet on the market. Mölndal is therefore also looking for a partner to be able to try out new solutions together.
The City of Mölndal currently has several operations with a need to replace their existing alarm solutions for nursing homes and LSS operations with a newer and modern solution. The number of users in SÄBO is currently about 380 beds divided into six homes and within LSS the volume is estimated at about 20 apartments divided into two to three homes. Today, the agreements are spread among suppliers with diversified solutions and agreements.
