The city of Bad Neustadt an der Saale intends to renovate, modernize the Bad Neustadt middle school with a new part.
The building of the middle school was built in 1971/72 in solid construction. The facade is made of exposed concrete with internal insulation. In 1994 the exposed concrete facades were renovated. The floor slabs were created as reinforced concrete rib ceilings. The roofs were realized as flat roofs in concrete construction with gravel cover and as flat pitched gable roofs with purlin roofs. The windows were exchanged for new wooden windows in 2002, but have to be renewed in the course of the current general renovation. In the years 2008 to 2015, individual rooms were converted or redesigned. As an early, subsidized measure, there were also various renovation measures to ensure fire protection in 2014/2015. For this purpose, among other things, a fire protection concept was drawn up for the general renovation that is now due. The building has a BRI of 16,800 m³ and a usable area of approx. 4,070 m
