The contracting authority hereby invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a contract for the hire and laundering of workwear and institutional clothing for the health and care service.

The Contracting Authority requires a service that includes hiring and laundering work clothes and institution textiles for the health and welfare service. The service also includes collecting and delivering the textiles 1 time per week to Vikhammer helsetun and Hommelvik helsetun in Malvik Municipality. 

The procured service must cover the need of the institutions and the home care service.

The laundered textiles will mainly be workwear and institutional textiles. Institutional textiles means duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets, draw sheets, fitted sheets, dishcloths, towels, blankets, etc. (the list is not exhaustive).

Work clothes for the health institutions is typical workwear for the branch, consisting of trousers, lab coats, etc. The workwear for the institutions must be suitable for each season, i.e., one suitable for summer use and one suitable for winter use.

This assignment concerns the hire, laundering and distribution of work/institutional clothing and flat textiles for the health and care service.
