The area of use must be able to include both general echocardiography in daily operation as well as in bedside/acute situations. It should be possible to perform a complete echo evaluation, refer to minimum requirements. It should be possible to perform more advanced analyses such as stress echo. It should be possible to perform regular TEE. 3D/4D TEE and the possibility for use of contrast is desirable.
