Fornebubanen [the Fornebu Line] is a new underground line between Majorstuen and Fornebu. The line will be approx. 8 km long and will in its entirety run through an underground tunnel. The line will be connected at Majorstuen Station and end in a new Fornebu Base and station. Six stations will be built along the stretch.

This contract, K2-C ‘Skøyen Cross Cut', deals with one of many cross cuts needed to drive the underground line tunnel. The cross cut at Skøyen will handle tunnel driving between Skøyen and Vækerø and the station hall at Skøyen.

The current parking station at Harbitzalléen 2a by Hoffsveien is scheduled to be the rigging area intended for access to the cross cut, and will later also be an access to the future station at Skøyen.

• pipe sheet pile: (600 m2),

• pipe wall (115 m2),

• Z sheet pile (420 m2),

• loose material building pit (2 050 m3),

• rock extraction building pit (2 000 m3),

• concrete surface (200 m3),

• tunnel (35 000 m3).
