The city of Göttingen intends to renovate the existing, listed outdoor pool on Brauweg and make it more attractive.
All pools are to be fundamentally revised.
This includes the dismantling of all outdoor paving surfaces, the removal of all overflow channels, the removal of the film lining, demolition of the pool heads. The bathing water technology must be largely renewed and partially revised. All basins receive new stainless steel gutters and a new foil lining. The non-swimmer pool West will be converted into a children's pool. The walk-through basins will be demolished and replaced by barrier-free walk-through troughs. The entire bathing water technology is renewed and a new rainwater drainage pipe is laid. The existing large slide, as well as the historic diving tower are to be preserved and protected during the construction project. The existing children's pool will be partially demolished and converted into a dry playground. After completion of the pools, the paving areas will be provided with new coverings and the transitions to the higher sunbathing lawn will be revised in landscape planning. The shore areas of the leine are opened on both sides and integrated into the bathing operation as a nature experience space. The two Leineufer connected with a new play suspension bridge. The tender for building automation / MSR includes the installation and programming of the necessary modules for measuring and controlling the bathing water technology. This includes the control of the circulation pumps of all pools as well as the attraction pump for the children's pool, the splash water tank level measurement and the control of the surge water tank refill, control of the pool water heating as well as the control of the dosing systems for chlorine, pH correction and flocculation via the measurement and control station provided by the site. The installation of the control cabinets and the wiring outside the control cabinets is carried out on site.
The functional operation of the system consists of two states (automatic and Manuel). For this purpose, two operating panels are provided, one of which is to be located in the technical building and in the pump cellar. The control panels are identical and allow control from both locations. The respective controller is requested via a key switch.
Depending on the model, the individual components of the bathing water technology are controlled via the control system. Among other things, the circulation operation of the two filter systems, the temperature of the pure water and the filter flushing are controlled here.
The water values are measured via the measuring, control and dosing systems that are used in order to then dose the respective chemical of the water. The water level is also measured into the splash water tank via the building management system and automatically added as required via the well and drinking water (replenishment). For this purpose, five level monitors are installed each, which regulate the level for the pump control, the replenishment (for circulation and filter flushing operation) and the overflow of the splash water tanks.
