NHS Yorkshire and Humber Commissioning Support (YHCS) conducted this procurement exercise as an agent for and on behalf of NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (the commissioner).

The commissioner sought practitioners to provide Non Scalpel Vasectomy Services to Sheffield registered patients.

The commissioner was open to new models of service delivery and encourages innovation in delivering patient centred solutions to the provision of this service.

Providers needed to deliver high quality, efficient services which are responsive to the needs of the local communities, in line with national guidance and local requirements.
