The object of the procurement is the multibiometric identification and Information management system (ABIS) which shall support Finnish forensic laboratory multibiometric investigations, several different acquisition and registration flows and various different integrations. Procurement includes ABIS System software delivery and implementation project, certain hardware and special equipment delivery, system maintenance and support services, and development and expert services as described in the procurement documents. The procurement includes an option where contracting authority could procure relevant hardware (eg. scanners, optical devices) with maintenance and support services as described in the procurement documents. The procurement agreement shall remain in force for a fixed period of five (5) years. After the fixed period, the agreement shall remain in force until further notice. The estimated total value of the procurement includes the delivery and implementation of the ABIS System including, among others, peripherals' start packet, certain optional functionalities and related software licences, as described in the final invitation to tender, as well as the estimated costs of four years of support and maintenance including separately ordered expert services and peripherals. The total cost of the procurement will change depending, among others, on the total amount of services and products ordered separately, the use of options, and the total duration of the support and maintenance service.
