Tuomi Logistiikka Oy competes for public transport in the Tampere region for public transport services 1_2022. This is competition above the EU threshold under the Special Sectors Procurement Act. The acquisition concerns the competition of items 70 and 71.

Line 70 (Tampere-Nokia- Harjuniitty), 70Y (Tampere- Nokia) and line 2 (Rauhaniemi- Särkänniemi) are included in item 70.

Item 71 includes Line 103. (Nalkala Railway Station — Ratina Airport).

The tender request requires only vehicles under the EU Clean Vehicles Directive to be used. Buses used to operate on Line 2 must be electrically operated.

The tender offer provides for lines 2 and 70 to form a single competitive destination with a contract period of eight (8) years starting on 5 June 2023. Line 103 will form another competitive destination, with two (2) years of contract starting on 8 August 2022. Both items include an option to extend the contract for up to two (1+1) years. This is one competitive destination with a contract period of eight (8) years from 5 June 2023. An option to extend the contract for up to two (1+1) years shall be included in the item.

Line 103 (Nalkala Railway Station — Ratina Airport). The contract period for Line 103 is two (2) years starting on 8 August 2022. The contract may be extended for two separate (1+1) option years.
