Description:
Unified Communication and Network services

ZOG Genk - Welzijnscampus 15, 3600 Genk or in other words, the customer can be seen in the context of this RFP as a care center with 25 administrative workstations, 270 rooms for residents and 45 workstations for nurses. The total number of employees is 400. This project envisages the following sub-projects, more details of which are discussed later in this document:

- renewal of the wireless network (WiFi),

- expanding the functionalities of the current unified communications (telephony) environment with meeting functionalities, being able to collaborate in groups on documents, chat and status functionalities (IMP) while integrations with all nurse call systems within the current environment must continue to function (these nurse call systems are not part of this RFP and remain unchanged),

- organizing, labeling and optimizing according to best practices of the cabling for the wired network in all patch rooms (14 access stacks, two core stacks). There are four general pillars to keep in mind: high performance, redundancy, demonstrable scalability, security. The idea is that any user can communicate transparently with any other user, from any device and from any location without our users having to ask questions. Any tenderer wishing to participate in this project must answer each of the points below and offer an eco-system solution. A mix of different manufacturers is not allowed in order to avoid passing on problems to each other in case of technical complications. The sub-project unified communications as well as the wireless network must therefore be endorsed by the tenderer by working together with a single manufacturer. Part or multi-manufacturer solutions will not be accepted and will automatically lead to exclusion from the proposal. The tenderer who formulates a response to this proposal application hereby indicates that he explicitly and completely agrees with all terms and conditions included in this document. In case of not or only partially agreeing with the terms and conditions as described in this document, the customer is explicitly asked to not compete and not work out a proposal. The Tenderer's terms and conditions will not apply if they may give rise to interpretation of or conflict with the subjects described in this document. By responding to this application, the tenderer explicitly agrees that its general terms and conditions are subordinate to the descriptions in this application. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the judicial district of Limburg have jurisdiction.
