Since that time, apart from cosmetic repairs (paintings, floor coverings), no significant value-preserving renovation measures have been carried out. Only in 2008 was a cafeteria area installed on level 0. The building is divided into 4 different buildings (structures Q, R, S, and T) and in 2012 the building complex was extended by a 5th building (building V). Due to its age, this is not an essential part of the planned rehabilitation measure. In building V, only a few small maintenance work is required. The roof surfaces of buildings R, S and T were completely renewed in 2019. In this context, PV systems were installed on these roof surfaces. Objectives and planning specifications of the renovation measure In the building at Albert-Einstein-Allee 55, the replacement new building has resulted in a conversion of the premises. This now requires dismantling and conversion measures as well as area adjustments. The renovation is to be carried out in sections while teaching is ongoing.
