1. The subject of the contract is the performance of bodywork, paint and mechanical repairs in the service vehicles of the Municipal Guard of the Capital City of Warsaw under the OC and AC policies, as well as bodywork and paint repairs resulting from ongoing operation.
2. The Contractor shall provide the services specified in paragraph 1, to the extent and under the conditions specified in the Description of the subject matter of the contract, which constitutes Appendix No. 1 to the Terms of Reference, and the provisions of the Model Agreement, which constitutes Appendix No. 3 to the Terms of Reference.
Due to the specificity of the repairs and the form of their financing, the repairs being the subject of the contract were divided into 2 scopes:
Scope 1 – repairs, the damage of which occurred as a result of the ongoing use of vehicles with body and chassis elements, on which corrosion centers, visible scratches and dents or other damage affecting the aesthetics of the vehicles occurred and are not subject to claims under motor insurance.
Scope 2 – repairs whose damage occurred as a result of a collision, accident, devastation or other road incident and are covered by the third party liability and comprehensive insurance policy, which are subject to claims under motor insurance under comprehensive and third party liability (AC/Regres).
In the case of both of the above Scopes, the scope of services will include in particular:
a) repair or replacement of damaged vehicle components,
b) bodywork, painting and mechanical repairs of vehicle elements and subassemblies,
c) bodywork and paint repairs of transport compartments in vehicles adapted for the transport of people or animals, including elements of grilles and equipment of the transport and luggage compartment,
d) full or local paint repairs, including touch-ups, removal of scratches and dents,
e) repair of any other elements and sub-assemblies of vehicles, not specified above, which have been damaged, and their repair is necessary in order to restore technical efficiency, guaranteeing the safe use of vehicles,
(f) repair or replacement of exterior markings of vehicles, including distinctive stripes, inscriptions and emblems,
g) performing technical inspections at the Vehicle Inspection Station, if necessary,
h) towing the Contracting Authority's vehicles from the Contractor's workshop to subcontractors, if necessary.
