The EU ETS is a cornerstone of the Green Deal and key part of the Fit for 55 package, the revision of the EU ETS Directive for aviation is important part of this deal. The support service will provide for support for the preparation of implementing legislation defined in the ETS Directive, as well as provide for support operating the implementing rules defined by the ETS Directive. The work will consist in providing expertise to support the use of eligible fuels, and for the establishment of detailed unit criteria.
