Electrical installation work, expansion of IT and electrical installations as part of the implementation of the DigitalPact School at 12 schools in the Wetterau district

As the sponsor of the schools in the district, the Wetterau district is responsible, among other things, for the new construction, conversion and expansion measures, as well as for the school IT and facilities. The "DigitalPact School" is intended to create the conditions at the technical level to use digital media in pedagogical work and to impart the digital competence required for the professional future of pupils.

As part of the "DigitalPact for Schools in Hesse", the network infrastructure and electrical installations are being renewed and expanded at various school locations in the Wetterau district. The tender includes the execution of individual projects at the school locations in the Wetterau district for the expansion and renewal of existing electrical installations, adapted to the current requirements for the network infrastructure. The aim is to expand a high-performance and comprehensive WLAN network, taking into account the existing IT infrastructures. As part of the continuous expansion of the IT equipment of the schools in the Wetterau district and with the help of the

Funding program of the federal government and the state of Hesse "DigitalPact School", the network infrastructure at the school locations (with high-performance WLAN analogous to the

specifications as well as structured data cabling).

Currently, the Wetterau district is in cooperation with 3 framework contract partners. The existing framework agreement has now reached the maximum contract amount to be spent. Therefore, the award of further open individual projects is hereby carried out.

The services are to be carried out at 12 defined school locations, which are located in the following villages in the Wetterau district:

It is important to note:

The following schools cannot be implemented during school hours.

In these schools, only evening and night work is possible. This is evident in the

unit prices.

The work to be carried out is primarily the extension and renewal of the network cabling (LAN) of classrooms, multifunctional rooms (canteens, auditoriums,

gymnasiums) and sports halls, as well as the construction and/or renewal of server and distribution cabinets, the construction and/or renewal of the infrastructure for the construction of

of wireless networks (WLAN) and the installation of interactive blackboards (IAS) including the necessary cabling. The establishment of wireless networks is carried out

on the basis of a WLAN plan prepared in advance, which is made available to the Contractor by the Client. The planning required for the implementation of the project (design or

execution plans and sketches, etc.) shall be made available to the Contractor by the Client as far as possible. At the end of an individual project, the Contractor

Documentation documents are to be prepared or existing documentation documents are to be revised and supplemented and coordinated with the Client. A specialist planning office is monitoring the implementation of the "DigitalPact Schools" project in the Wetterau district (information and, if necessary, a call for cooperation in individual projects will follow in due course).
