With the planned new building, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg will replace the existing rescue coordination center. The new building comprises seven full storeys and has a basement in one section. The foundation is carried out as a deep foundation with the help of bored piles. The property connects directly to the neighbouring buildings to the west and ends closed on the property boundary to the east. Parking spaces are provided on the open space remaining behind the building, which can be reached via a passage in the western part of the building. In addition, two underground diesel tanks will be installed in this area. There is a residential building on the parcel adjoining to the south. The height of the construction site fluctuates by about 1 m, with the street level being higher.
