Procurement of planning services in the area of technical equipment planning in accordance with HOAI §53 for the renovation of the Mühltalbath in Darmstadt-Eberstadt.
The magistrate of the science city of Darmstadt is planning the fundamental renovation of the Mühltal Bath in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The implementation of the measure and the commissioning of the planning services is subject to the planning and construction decision of the city council meeting.
The Mühltalbad was built in 1959 and still exists today essentially as it was at the time of its construction. The entire plant, including the outdoor facilities, has been listed as a cultural monument since the 1990s. Since the early 2000s, there has been a comprehensive need for renovation in the Mühltal Bath, including in the area of swimming pools, technology, changing clothes, lifeguard's house and outdoor facilities. The entire outdoor pool is partially damaged, and the service life — especially of technical systems — has been exceeded.
Due to its great importance for recreational and grassroots sports in Darmstadt as well as its classification as a cultural monument, the Mühltalbad is to undergo a fundamental renovation.
