The main objective of this service contract is to support the European Commission in providing to stakeholders information and guidance to support the implementation of the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Directives, as well as of the Tyre Labelling Regulation and the 'Energy star' programme.

The main tasks of the service contract consist in developing, managing and promoting a multilingual and multidisciplinary electronic facility (henceforth 'the energy-efficient products facility') on ecodesign and energy labelling for the benefit of consumers, manufacturers, retailers, NGOs, market surveillance authorities and other relevant categories.
