The National Museum of Natural History (NRM) hereby invites you to submit tenders regarding the procurement of air services with aircraft for seal inventory
Procurement of flight services for seal inventoryIn order to monitor the population development of bays and seal seals, annual flight inventories are performed in connection with the species-specific fur change periods. Areas where the seals are located on ice or land are visited and photos are taken to be able to count the number of seals. Monitoring of seal populations is carried out on behalf of the Sea and Water Authority and is part of Sweden's marine environmental monitoring. Whether monitoring should be decided on an annual basis.
The assignments are subdivided into the monitoring programs wicker and seal seals as follows and constitute areas that can be offered separately;
Area A) Inventory of bays in the Gulf of Bothnia according to requirements specification
Area B) Inventory of seal seals in Kalmarsund and on the West Coast, from Landskrona to the Oslofjord according to the requirements specification.
The tenderer may tender one or both areas. The areas are evaluated and agreements are signed separately for each area.
The agreement is valid for one (1) year from the start of the contract spring term 2019 with the possibility for NRM to extend for another three (3) years, however one year at a time.
