Ånuglo, Midtøya, Seløya and Florneset in Tysnes municipality was listed as natural reserve in 2014. The felling of spruce and unknown type of trees is a prioritised management measure for the administration plan. The County Governor of Hordaland wishes through this tender contest to enter into an agreement with a tenderer for the felling of spruce and unknown type of trees at Seløy and Flornes in Tysnes municipality, Hordaland.

The assignment shall be implemented as a felling rights contract. The procurement of the timber shall finance the operation. The tenderer shall ensure felling and transport of Norwegian spruce and all strange spruce species in tree felling class 3-5, to a shipment location and for sales of the wood.

Appraisals of the forests at Seløya (2014) and Florneset (2016) were implemented. These appraisals are attached the tender.

A tender inspection will be arranged which shall give the tenderers an opportunity to look closely at problems in connection with work roads and barge locations. Each tenderer can evaluate and give a price for the details of the operation.

The assignment shall be concluded by 1.12.2018. The work shall be executed in one operation, unless otherwise agreed upon.
