The framework agreement includes IT consultants for the technology area Oracle Fusion Middleware and Database. The consultancy services will cover three types of consultants, development consultants, operations consultants for Fusion Middleware and operations consultants for Database.

The primary areas of work for development consultants include the design, development, testing and maintenance of system integrations in the technology area Oracle Fusion Middleware and database as well as the preparation of related documentation. In addition, development consultants must assist operations consultants with commissioning of system integrations and troubleshooting.

The primary areas of work for Fusion Middleware and Database Operations Consultants include ongoing operations of the products included in the Oracle Fusion Middelware and database technology space. Ongoing operation means installation and configuration of software, patching of software, ongoing maintenance of software, backup & recovery, monitoring, tuning, DBA tasks, deployment of components, handling of certificates, standardization, automation of routines and preparation of documentation. In addition, advice and sparring with the Customer's operating staff as well as training in the use of operational tools.
