The province of Limburg wishes to conclude new insurance policies starting on 01/01/2024.

It concerns insurance contracts; Accidents at work, liability - personal accidents - combined policies, patrimony, vehicles, health care and an insurance package for the deputation, governor and clerk.

The planned term is 6 years (annual renewable policies for 1 year).

The justification for these possible annual renewals of a maximum of 6 years is based on the following points:

1) Size of the file:

The number of potential bidders expected after market exploration is very limited. By extending the award period, the aim is to increase interest in the insurance file of the Province of Limburg and thus to obtain more potential tenderers.

2) Annual renewable policies:

The contracts for the new award period will not be terminated. (see order documents)

Guarantee Act '67 for workmen, clerks, emergency service instructors, paramedics and nurses and others. Law '71 when applicable.

general civil liability including legal aid, objective liability, civil liability and accident insurance of, for example, organized activities, representatives, board members, council members and volunteers/volunteer helpers as well as childcare and schools. Liability architects and engineers. Liability organization various activities.

all fire policies, various locations and all risk insurance (electronics and various categories). All-risk coverage of works of art and value insurance are also provided.

the fire policies for the Provincial House and B-Mine are housed in a separate plot because of the size of the insured capital and the complexity of the risk to be insured.

concerns fleet/fleet, omnium service assignments.

hospitalisation insurance for the participating entities. This guarantee includes the costs associated with hospitalisation, outpatient care and intervention in the event of serious illnesses.

A package of guarantees is offered to the deputation, the governor the clerk. This package includes guarantees for physical accidents, assistance, cancellation of trips, baggage insurance, property damage (violence), protection of provincial representatives and guaranteed income for the deputation.
