Berlin - Fire extinguishing systems, fire extinguishing equipment
Fire extinguishing systems DIN 18381
Construction project: Berlin - New Museum of the 20th Century
The building will be equipped with a total of seven "dry" risers with a nominal diameter of DN 80 in accordance with DIN 14462.
Each riser has its own feed-in fitting in accordance with DIN 14461, Part 4.
Four feed-in faucets will be located near the main entrances to the north, as well as near the entrances to the south. These feeds are manufactured as standing fittings and integrated into the façade in built-in wall cabinets (architectural office - façade trade).
Three feed-in fittings near the west and east entrances are located as standing fittings in built-in cupboards in the outdoor facilities. In order to connect these to the risers, suitable pipelines made of PE 100 SDR 11 must be laid in prepared trenches and the connection to the risers must be established.
The extraction fittings or the fire extinguishing hose connection devices according to DIN 14461, Part 5, are freely accessible in the stairwells.
Each riser is equipped with automatic emptying (TPE 15 automatic emptying machine) and mechanical emptying (ball valve secured). These are located on the lowest landing of the stairwells in UG2.
In addition, each riser is equipped with an automatic DN 50 ventilation system at the top point.
The parts of the dry fire extinguishing pipes that are not in the stairwell supplied by it are encapsulated in terms of fire protection.
A total of 235 hand-held fire extinguishers are planned to equip the building.
In addition, the award of 'maintenance services' is the subject of the procedure.
