The main objective of this tender is to further develop, maintain and promote during 36 months the EU clean vehicle portal (http://www.cleanvehicle.eu). This portal aims at supporting the implementation of the Directive on the promotion of clean and energy efficient road transport vehicles (2009/33/EC), thus contributing to accelerate the market introduction of environmentally-friendly vehicles in Europe. The portal assists contracting authorities, contracting entities as well as certain operators for the discharge of public service obligations to take into account lifetime energy and environmental impacts of road transport vehicles during procurement. To this end the portal contains one of Europe's largest vehicle databases.
