Railway Housing Association is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide electrical tests to 1 039 properties across its portfolio for a period of 12 months. Once these tests have been carried out Railway Housing Association will then have a valid electrical test certificate for all their properties. In addition to the tests the successful contractor will also complete all C1 and C2 repairs whilst on site. The successful contractor will also provide information on the SORs required for all C3 and C4 repairs that are required at the property so they can inform a future planned maintenance programme.

The contract is for an initial 1 year period with the option to extend for three further one year periods. Railway Housing Associations programme of works is planned on an annual basis so the contract extensions are subject to satisfactory performance in year one and the granting of the planned programme. The contract is awarded through a second stage tender through the Procurement Hub Property Works dynamic purchasing system.
