The municipality of Weil im Schönbuch carries out the realization of the new construction of a school children's house in Weil im Schönbuch. The location for the new building is to be finally decided by the municipality in autumn 2022 and will be located in the area of the school complex of Weil im Schönbuch, In der Röte 92 on parcel 4954. The new building is intended to accommodate the children of the all-day care, primarily for the core time use, but possibly also those of the after-school care. Both functions have so far been housed in the school building "In der Röte 92", where there will not be enough space for the increasing demand in the future. Until the final demand and capacity determination by the administration with external service provider, it can be assumed that the new building will receive a gross floor area of approx. 1,000m² divided into 6 units with 85m² each for groups and ancillary rooms and other areas for toilets, possibly a multi-purpose room, corridors, stairs, etc. Whether the heat supply can be economically justifiably coupled to the existing local heating network of the school or whether its own heating system is installed has yet to be examined.

The planning disciplines of object planning buildings, technical planning TGA, electrical, structural engineering/statics and, if necessary, outdoor plant planning are awarded in separate negotiation procedures with upstream participation competition in accordance with the regulations of the VgV. The subject of this procedure is the awarding of the building construction services. A phased assignment is intended.
