The Fridtjof-Nansen-Realschule in Gronau is a 4-class secondary school with afternoon care. Today's school building consists of four components.
The concept includes the rehabilitation and
Restructuring of the existing buildings from 1939 (BT 3A)
and 1957 (BT 3B) and the addition of a
3-storey building (BT 4) as well as the creation of a
Connection between old and new buildings. The northern
Building from 1968 (BT 1) is demolished and
replaced by a new building. Part of the technical cellar
Remains. The eastern part of the building will be partially rebuilt.

The construction project is divided into two construction phases, each with
three components.
The first phase of construction includes the conversion and the
Refurbishment of components 3A and 3B and the new construction of the
Component 4. The second phase of construction includes the conversion
and the renovation of component 1 and the new construction of the
Component 2.
The basic renovation will be carried out in two construction phases at
ongoing school operations.
