MVV Energie AG operates public charging stations for electric vehicles. As part of the “Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure” funding program, MVV is building around 45 public fast charging stations in Mannheim and in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, which are predominantly located on public roads. The invitation to tender includes the delivery of approximately 45 charging stations (90 charging points) for use in public roads.

Position 1: Module form 1: charging station with 2x CCS sockets of 75 kW - 160 kW (20 charging stations or 40 charging points). There are two charging points per charging station, which enable parallel charging of 75-80 kW. If only one charging point is charged, the entire 150-160 kW is available at this charging point).

Position 2: Module form 2: charging station with 2x CCS socket each 150 kW - 320 kW (25 charging stations or 50 charging points). There are two charging points per charging station, which enable parallel charging of 150-160 kW. If only one charging point is charged, the entire 300-320 kW is available at this charging point.

If necessary, the upgrade of module form 1 to module form 2 should be possible by inserting additional modules into the charging station.
