Absalon University College has initiated a project for establishing a campus in Kalundborg, targeting the diploma engineering degree in biotechnology and the Professionsbachelor program in bioanalytical diagnostics. The tender deals with the construction of a new campus in the main contract at Rynkevangen in Kalundborg. The tender is a limited offering according to the tender law. Note that the tender has been formally established as a "public tender" on the electronic tender system with tender no .: TN397478. After the pre-qualification - and in connection with the tender submission - a new tender will therefore be created.

The main contract "Biotek Kalundborg" encompasses all terrain work and construction of the building incl. adjoining outdoor areas within the land. The only exception to this is the establishment of drainage of rainwater and wastewater that marginally exceeds the land mark, as well as the final arrangement of teaching laboratories not included in the contract.

The new campus includes a building that contains the ground floor and 1st floor with educational facilities, project and group work facilities, shared study halls, stays and corridors, in addition to an interposed mezzanine at the north end of the building, containing a common main entrance as well as a canteen and production kitchen. In addition, the campus contains fortified areas, for a front yard, a two-part warehouse for laboratory facilities and production kitchens, as well as outdoor study areas and gardens in the building's central patio.

The total building area is approx. 4,852 m2.
