Individual assignments for language mediators

It is about the support in customer discussions in the area of the application for SGB II benefits, of performance matters or also general matters in the field of job placement. The language mediators support the employees of the JobCenter in communicating with people with a migrant background through expert interpreting and mediation of socio-cultural issues on site.

Individual assignments for language mediation take place from Monday to Friday, usually between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the various locations of the JobCenter Essen.

The JobCenter Essen currently has various locations in the city of Essen.

During the opening hours of the JobCenter Essen, the specialists of the JobCenter can commission language mediators for individual orders for the following situations:

- The permanent linguist does not have the required foreign language;

- Complex issues have to be clarified;

- It must u. U. binding agreements are made;

- Conflicts and / or particularly (culturally) sensitive conversations are to be conducted;

- Subject-specific interpreting is required;

- Socio-cultural background knowledge is to be conveyed;

- Country-specific differences are to be explained;

- Compensation for communication disruptions is required;

- There is the opinion that it is not helpful or possibly even a hindrance to involve relatives, acquaintances or voluntary support.

The discussions take place either in the advisory offices of the respective locations or in the offices of the JobCenter employees.

It is about the support in customer discussions in the area of the application for SGB II benefits, of performance matters or also general matters in the field of job placement. The language mediators support the employees of the JobCenter in communicating with people with a migrant background through expert interpreting and mediation of socio-cultural issues on site.

For the assignment, the provider provides a suitable booking procedure for all skilled workers at the JobCenter; the procedure must be explained as part of the concept.

Appointments can be booked by the JCE specialists for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. In special exceptional cases, an appointment can also be booked beyond the age of 60; the billing takes place for each additional quarter of an hour or part thereof.

The lead time for the booking is usually at least 3 working days. A confirmation of the appointment by the contractor is required.

The booked service can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment.

The implementation period begins on January 1, 2021 and ends on December 31, 2021.
