Humber Coast and Vale STP (for the purposes of this procurement this includes Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG) comprises 182 GP practices and 7 CCGs serving a population of approximately 1 500 000. The STP and member GP practices seek to procure an established and proven online consultation system. This is part of the STP’s wider approach to transforming primary care in line with the GP forward view, local digital roadmaps, and digital inclusion strategies.

As part of the NHS General Practice Forward View, a 45 000 000 GBP fund has been created to contribute towards the costs for practices to purchase online consultation systems, improving access and making best use of clinicians' time.
