The aim of the measure is to improve the fire protection of the cell building (star structure) in the JVA Mannheim. The star-shaped cell building consists of an administration wing and 4 cell wings that dock with a central building. The measure is carried out in cell wing 4.
The entire area will be completely renovated. All technical systems / infrastructure are also renewed.
In addition to the work required by the fire protection measure, the following are required:
- Renewal of the entire cell call system and the electrotechn. Equipping the entire pulpit during operation,
- Exchange of the NSHV of the star building (rebuilding in a separate room and then switching).
An approved fire protection concept and a building permit from the city of Mannheim are available.
The estimated proportionate cost of the technical equipment is EUR 2 355 000 (gross).
Of which for:
- KG 410 sewage, water and fire-fighting water systems EUR 350,000 (gross),
- KG 420 heat supply systems EUR 90,000 (gross),
- KG 430 ventilation systems EUR 70,000 (gross),
- KG 440 high-voltage systems EUR 775,000 (gross),
- KG 450 telecommunications and information technology systems EUR 1,070,000 (gross).
