Restricted procedure n. 2019 / R / 50T, entirely managed by telematic systems, aimed at the establishment of 2 separate framework agreements, each with a single economic operator, concerning the supply of electrically powered trains for the regional commercial service.

The supply is divided into 2 lots.

Lot 1

New supply of medium-capacity bi-directional, electrically driven, single-deck trains, locked composition, distributed power (EMU) and maximum speed of 160 km / h, to be used for the regional passenger transport service on conventional 3-line lines kV in direct current of the national railway infrastructure.

The estimated quantity for the entire duration of the Framework Agreement relating to lot 1 is equal to n. 150 trains; the minimum guaranteed quantity of lot 1 is equal to n. 38 trains, of which n. 19 ordered together with the signing of the framework agreement.

Lot 2

Supply of new high-capacity bi-directional, electrically driven, single-deck trains, locked composition, distributed power (EMU) and a maximum speed of 200 km / h, to be used for the regional passenger transport service on conventional 3-line lines kV in direct current of the national railway infrastructure.

The quantity estimated for the entire duration of the framework agreement relating to lot 2 is equal to n. 100 trains; the minimum guaranteed quantity of lot 2 is equal to n. 22 trainsets, ordered together with the signing of the framework agreement.
