The control of the gas turbine is provided by a GE Mark V TCS. Visualisation is running GE Simplicity version 5.5 under Windows 2000 via a single HMI operator station .The existing overall plant monitoring and control system (DCS) used is the Contronic E system from ABB. During 2022, it will be replaced with a new Siemens PCS7 DCS (DCS7) system. It is responsible for the key monitoring and control functions of the overall plants, including: -

• Overall plant monitoring, control, operation and management.

• Signal input/output and conditioning.

• Open and closed loop control of plant.

• Plant protection functions including Functional Safety.

• Data communications.

• Data recording, alarm/event annunciation and logging, sequence of event recording.

The goal is to find a supplier with proven technology, knowledge, experience and capabilities of performing the replacement of the Turbine Control System
